Portrait Model Special Look: Ashley Sherman

Quite recently, I was delighted to take up the task of photographing a wonderful model for her senior pictures. Ashley Sherman, a senior in high school and a very old friend of mine, will be graduating high school soon. Among her studies, she too dabbles in photography and even has her own blog which can be browsed by clicking on this link! If you're an instagram kind of person, she has one here too!

We got together on the beaches of Lake Erie and, all in all, I adore how the shoot went. She is a beautifully fantastic model to work with. But don't take my word for it! See for yourself:

MURO.EXE

Hello everyone!

I have some exciting news to tell you guys! For the most recent months, I've been working away on this totally super secret project... well, okay, maybe not "super secret", but still. 

I have been collaborating with the fine folks at MURO.EXE, a shoe company based in Europe. As part of their newest lineup of shoes--appropriately entitled "Industrialization"--they were able to use this photograph here as a means to expand on their central theme. 

MURO.EXE is a young, growing company--a collection of individuals who are essentially experimental thinkers. They strive to reinvent the conventional means of the basic "shoe", and in result create intriguing pieces of art. Moreover, they listen and take into heart what the community has to say about their products and are entirely serious about what they do.

As depicted on their website, they are indeed serious about taking in "new blood", and are continuously expanding around the globe. As of today, they've officially launched their new "global" website. So, if you can, go help them out. Buy some shoes. (: ... and while you're at it, pick up a copy of my print! If you're feeling up to it, shoot 'em a like on facebook!

Once I graduate from college and pay off its respective debt of unspeakable nightmares, I am going to buy a pair of their shoes and wear them proudly.

Update 3/19/14

Hello everyone! I hope you all have had a terrific 2013, and are beginning to make the most out of 2014. And, of course, I hope you all are doing so very well.

It has been a very, very long time since I last posted a photograph. In all honesty, I've been so busy with school work and dealing with potential employers that I haven't really had the opportunity to go out and shoot anything. Chemical engineering is so overwhelmingly time consuming!

Recently, I've been given the opportunity to do something really terrific with one of my favorite prints. If all goes well, I'll be able to reveal a special treat to you all very soon! Until then, keep your beautiful eyes peeled. (:

Hopefully, the site will be in full operation by late April! I'll keep you all updated periodically until that day arrives.

And, as always, I want to thank every single one of you for the love and support you've given me and my photography this last year and a half. Any and all happiness my work gives to your day is added inspiration that keeps driving me.
